The song's lyrics compare the subject of the song to the Emperor, with three gladiators who are trying to put the Emperor in his place. There are several "plays on words" in the song and the commercial. One of them is "kicking your can all over the place." In the commercial, this refers to the Pepsi cans.

Teia 2010 – Tambores Digitais

Entre os dias 25 e 31 de março, Fortaleza irá sediar o maior e mais plural encontro de cultura brasileira, a Teia 2010 – Tambores Digitais. O evento é realizado pela Comissão Nacional dos Pontos de Cultura, representado pelo Instituto da Cidade, em parceria com o Ministério da Cultura, o Governo do Ceará e com o Centro Dragão do Mar de Arte e Cultura (IACC). Como o nome já diz, a Teia é um emaranhado de manifestações culturais de diversas regiões e em várias linguagens, uma oportunidade de revelar os diversos Brasis através da descentralização da produção.

Mas o encontro vai além. Nele será realizado o III Fórum Nacional de Pontos de Cultura, junto com seminários, painéis, debates, exposições, uma feira de economia solidária e apresentações artísticas. As atividades contarão com a presença de convidados do Brasil, da África, Europa e América Latina, e com a participação de representantes de 2.500 Pontos de Cultura. A idéia destas discussões é consolidar a Teia como um espaço político e cultural destes Pontos e discutir a gestão compartilhada do Programa Cultura Viva.

O Programa Nacional de Cultura, Educação e Cidadania (Cultura Viva), do Ministério da Cultura, seleciona, através de edital público, projetos que promovam as artes, a cultura, a cidadania e a economia solidária em comunidades por todo o país. Desta parceria entre sociedade civil e poder público nascem os Pontos de Cultura, através de convênio com a Secretaria de Cidadania Cultural (SCC-MinC) e governos estaduais. No total, R$ 180 mil são repassados para cada Ponto, em três anos de convênio.

Nesta edição, o evento acontece entre os dias 25 e 31 de março no Centro Dragão do Mar de Arte e Cultura, na capital cearense. Conheça aqui a instituição.

Ele está localizado na Rua Dragão do Mar, 81, Praia de Iracema.

Realização

A Teia Brasil 2010 é uma realização do Fórum Nacional dos Pontos de Cultura, através da comissão Nacional dos Pontos de Cultura, do Ministério da Cultura, através da Secretaria de Cidadania Cultural e do Governo do Estado do Ceará, através da Secretaria de Cultura.

A produção do evento é feita pelo Instituto da Cidade e o IACC – Instituto de Arte e Cultura do Ceará.

O Banco do Nordeste está patrocinando o evento, através da Lei de Incentivo à Cultura.
